ÍõÖÐÍõÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë seeks to uphold the Christian faith through the teaching of the Bible and pointing people to Jesus. Since our foundation in 1889, our Christian faith and values at ÍõÖÐÍõÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë have always steadfastly guided our holistic approach to education and Pastoral Care.
As we continuously nurture all the students under our care to reach their full academic potential, we also actively encourage and teach them to learn and apply the virtues of good character.
Students at ÍõÖÐÍõÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë will not only learn Christian values through our Chapel services and Christian Studies classes, they will also have many opportunities to see and experience it first-hand through our leading Pastoral Care and Service Learning programmes. These programmes are designed to teach the students - in modern, engaging and meaningful ways - the foundations of good character such as ethical behaviour, moral actions, gratitude, empathy and community service.
Many ÍõÖÐÍõÁùºÏ²ÊÌØÂë Old Boys have gone on to hand on the torch of life and serve their families and communities with distinction, from volunteering and fundraising through to pastoral careers and working in the not-for-profit sector. It is our hope that the Christian faith and teachings passed down to our students today will encourage them to preserve their commitment to family and community long into their adult lives.
