About me and my therapy practice
As a therapist, I use approaches that best suit clients and their individual needs. The therapies I use (Counselling, CBT, Hypnotherapy Psychosomatic Relaxation), refer to human optimisation, health promotion, prevention of clinical problems and treatment of mental disorders and other clinical conditions. My focus is on the change of the underlying belief system of clients which ensures profound and long-lasting outcome and leads to a longer and happier life. Clients are provided with self-help techniques and taught skills that enable them to cope in the long-term future.
Practice description
My approach involves talking through issues, exploring them, looking for what works, changing perspectives, and working on insights. It is based on identifying unhelpful beliefs and turning them into those that are helpful, beneficial and / or effective. (Change of beliefs leads to experiencing different emotions – feelings - thoughts – actions – reality.)
I see therapy as a collaborative process which depends on what a patient is looking for, how she/he would like to work on the issues and what they would like to achieve.
My first session
In the first session, we get to know each other, talk about a client's needs, identify a problem and a goal of treatment. If we have time, we begin exploring the problem.
